INFRASTRUCTURE

I am currently engaged upon a number of major infrastructure works which include power stations, roadway projects and bridge projects, as Dispute Board. Amongst the power stations in Eastern Europe are the coal fired units Kosovo B, Maritza East III in Bulgaria & Nicola Tesla in Serbia.

Disputes regarding the procurement of major infrastructure projects or within the world of refurbishment of existing infrastructures are normally complex involving such matters as time constraints, technical issues, unforeseeable events and are often coupled with scope of works and contractual issue problems. However on occasion disputes also arise due to administrative matters such as payment, non certification or completion and taking over issues. The failure to give possession of the site is also a common cause of disagreement and dispute.
