GWYN PEREDUR OWEN

Mr. Owen has been involved in the construction industry for over 40 years, speaks Spanish and runs an international practice. He acts as Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Mediator on major international projects.

In addition to a degree in civil engineering, he has a Masters degree in construction law and is past President of the global DRB Foundation. He is listed on various arbitrator and adjudicator panels both in the UK and internationally, including FIDIC and has published over 400 Awards and Decisions to July 2010 under both ICC and numerous other national and international rules.

His experience in the construction industry includes projects in the fields of major civil engineering works, building, power generation, infrastructure, oil and gas E&P works, and remote area contracting. He has worked in environmentally sensitive areas including rainforests and flatlands. He specialises in contract law and interpretation and major infrastructure works dispute resolution including technical, execution, planning, delay and programming issues.
